The last couple of chapters of the WN are techically a happy ending because Dantalian and Babatos are happy together, it it really isn't in my opinion. It takes her over 200 years to finally find him again. The last couple of chapters before the final chapters detail Babatos's search for Dandelion. Babatos swears to find him no matter now long it takes. All of his love interests die except for Babatos and everything he built to complete the game crumbles away.Īfter Dandelion realized basically everything he had has crumbled away, he leaves and disappears.
Basically, when everything is done and Dandelion is close to finishing and leaving the game, he breaks. The author cleverly misdirects you(the reader) and makes you think that Dandelion is okay when he really isn't. Dandelion slowly goes insane throughout the entire WN.
